Extended Warranties

 

WARRANTY
These warranties are available on every car we sell. If you have imported your own vehicle through Autoworx then we can sell these warranties directly to you at a much lower cost than anyone else.

We endeavour to make sure that all our cars are thoroughly checked at the time of purchase and any defects repaired before you take your car. However, all cars need maintenance - that's a fact of life. That is why we offer a 3 year All States Warranty Network Mechanical parts and Labour Warranty right from the day you purchase your new Low Kilometre Imported sports car.
DELUXE ADVANTAGE WARRANTY: 1 & 3 YEAR CONTRACT
This warranty covers vehicles up to 175,000 klms and less than 12 years old at time of purchase. The cost for a 1 year warranty is $595 and a 3 year is $795.

The following items are covered by an All States Warranty:
 
Engine - (Claim limit: up to $2000 per claim)
- Items covered: Engine Block (if damaged by internal components), oil pump, pistons, piston rings, crankshaft and timing gears(not linked by chain or belt), crankshaft bearings, camshaft bearings, cylinder wristpins, camshaft, internal bushings, connecting rods, balance shaft and bearings, Cylinder head gaskets are covered only when repairs are carried out on the componenets covered in this subsection.

Transmission - (Claim limit: up to $2000 per claim)
- Items covered: The internal lubricated parts of both manual & automatic transmissions (specifically excluding driveshafts)

Differential - (Claim limit: up to $2000 per claim)
- Items covered: The internal lubricated parts (specifically excluding axles & wheel bearings).

Cooling System - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Water pump (impeller shaft, bearings & bushings), cooling fan.

Electrical - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Alternator, Starter motor, Voltage regulator, Windscreen wiper motor.

Steering System - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Rack & pinion, Power steering pump, Steering box & Internal parts.

Braking System - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Booster & brake calipers, Master cylinder.

Air Conditioning - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Condensor & evaporator, Compressor (applies to factory fitted air only) (specifically excluding Gas, leakages, pipes & hoses, thermostat).

Clutch - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Slave cylinder & Master cylinder (excluding clutch plate & pressure plate).

Fuel Pump & Fuel Injection Systems - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: Electric fuel pump, Metal fuel delivery lines, Fuel injection pump excluding service items & servicing procedures (pump calibration & timing, Anti detonation sensors. (specifically excluding fuel injectors, service items).

Drive shafts, CV joints, & universals - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)

Turbos - (Claim limit: up to $1000 per claim)
- Items covered: All internal parts, turbocharger housing fitted by vehicle nmanufacturer.

Electric Solenoids and Computers - up to $1000 per claim. Engine control module, transmission computer, cruise control sensors & actuators

All electric ignition components - up to $1000 per claim. Crank angle sensor, Oxygen sensor, air flow meter, ignition coil & ignition module.

All ABS braking systems - up to $1000 per claim. ABS actuators, Electronic Module & Wheel Speed Sensors(specifically excluding brake pads or linings or service items).

Cylinder Heads, Head Gaskets, Valves & Lifters - up to $500 per claim. Cylinder heads, valves & lash adjusters. If no evidence of overheating or corrosion.

Radiators - up to $500 per claim. Engine cooling radiator, covered against leaks due to corrosion.(specifically excluding any damage caused by collision or the result of road surface projectiles).

Power Window Motors & Switches - up to $500 per claim. (not including sunroofs)

*Oil & Water leaks excluded in all of the above.

CLASSIC ADVANTAGE WARRANTY - 1 & 3 YEAR CONTRACT.

This warranty covers vehicles up to 220,000 klms and less than 15 years old at time of purchase. The cost for a 1 year warranty is $495 and a 3 year is $695.

The following items are covered by an All States Warranty:
 
Engine - (Claim limit: up to $1500 per claim)
- Items covered: Engine Block (if damaged by internal components), oil pump, pistons, piston rings, crankshaft and timing gears(not linked by chain or belt), crankshaft bearings, camshaft bearings, cylinder wristpins, camshaft, internal bushings, connecting rods, balance shaft and bearings, Cylinder head gaskets are covered only when repairs are carried out on the componenets covered in this subsection.

CLAIMS & SERVICING
  • What happens if I need to make a claim?
    Call All States direct on (02) 4925 2200. They will tell you how to go about making a claim.
  • Can I claim more than once?
    YES! Unlimited claims and unlimited kilometres.
  • Do I have to fill out claim forms?
    NO! This prevents unecessary delays.
  • Do I have to pay for repairs then wait for reimbursement?
    NO! A.S.W.N. pays the repairer direct on your behalf.
  • What if I travel interstate?
    A.S.W.N. Is an Australia-wide warranty. Approx. 1000 approved repairers throughout Australia.
  • What about servicing?
    Servicing can be done at any licensed mechanical workshop of your choice.
  • What if I have a problem with my car that is not claim related?
    Just call - they can still assist you through the network of approved repairers Australia wide.
 
All the vehicle owner has to do to keep his warranty valid is to maintain a regular service schedule in accordance with manufacturers specifications at intervals not exceeding 10,000kms or (6) six months, whichever occurs first. However if the vehicle is over the age of ten (10) years or in excess of 200,000 (two hundred thousand) klms at the time of purchase, it must also have a safety check and oil change at intervals not exceeding 3 (three) months or 5,000 (five thousand) klms, whichever occurs first.

Insurance:

Your insurance costs will depend on many factors including your age and driving history. Some insurance companies won't finance "imports" but others, such as "Just Car Insurance", have no problem insuring "imports" and "high performance cars".
