2) I understand that there are certain risks involved in the importation of a motor vehicle from Japan such as possible theft & damage to the vehicle during transportation and other unforeseen acts of God or terrorism and that the Autoworx “Special Guarantee”* pertains to the vehicle as described at auction or in stock with one of their suppliers only and that Autoworx cannot be held accountable for said unforseen acts. I also understand that it is my choice whether I purchase insurance to cover any such events.

3) I understand that it is entirely my responsibility to investigate all the relevant information available to decide whether it is an acceptable risk to privately import a vehicle through Autoworx Pty Ltd.

4) I understand that while Autoworx Pty Ltd estimates the final on road cost of the vehicle , it is only an estimate and I will not hold Autoworx Pty Ltd liable for any miscalculation or unforseen expenses that may arise due to change of government regulations, exchange rates or vehicle repairs.

5) I understand that any contractor that Autoworx Pty Ltd uses or recommends is an entirely separate entity and I will not hold Autoworx Pty Ltd responsible for any complaints with service, equipment or goods supplied by these entities. I understand I must use the RAWS workshop that has applied for the Import Approval on my behalf (RAW vehicles only) for all compliance work involved to modify the vehicle in accordance with the Australian Design Rules (ADR’s).

6) I understand that although Autoworx Pty Ltd will make every attempt to provide an accurate description of the vehicle condition, it is not possible for their suppliers to record every minor problem that a vehicle may have due to the fact that vehicles cannot be test driven*. This can include items such as unobvious mechanical or electrical problems, minor scratches, paint blemishes or interior damage that was not visible in the photos. Theft from the vehicle may also occur during transport. *(the special guarantee does not apply for mechanical problems eg engine, differential, gearbox problems or electrical problems due to the fact that the vehicles cannot be test driven or inspected for said problems).

7) I understand that autoworx Pty Ltd will refund 100% of my fee up until the time that I have made a successful bid on a vehicle. I understand that once a vehicle has been purchased on my behalf by Autoworx Pty Ltd’s Japanese supplier, the $880 service fee will be non-refundable and that should I fail to pay all outstanding costs for the vehicle to the Japanese supplier within 7 days, I will forfeit the said fees and any rights to the ownership of the vehicle.
